Es Vedrà, Cala d'Hort and the secret coves of the south coast. The most cinematic stretch of coast in the Balearics.
The south route trades crowds for drama. Heading anti-clockwise from Marina Botafoc, you pass Sa Caleta and Es Cubells before the silhouette of Es Vedrà rises out of the water, 400 metres of sheer rock that feels like sailing into a film set.
Cala d'Hort is the lunch stop: anchor close in for the view of the islet, jump from the bathing platform, and let the captain ferry the tender ashore for a long Mediterranean lunch at El Carmen.
On the afternoon return, swing through the salt flats at Ses Salines and the cliffs of Cap des Falcó, then drop guests at the Cala Jondal beach clubs (Blue Marlin, Tropicana) for the evening.
